As many of you already know, Metrolinx is reconstructing Bramalea GO Station. Due to construction, many bus routes will be affected.

Starting from August 8, the current bus terminal will be closed for approximately 18 to 24 months. Residents are to use the new temporary bus terminal constructed in the north-west corner of the site. This will require a minor re-routing of buses on-site, and different platform numbers for bus departures.

The new routes are:
Platform 6 – 40 Central Industrial, 92 Bramalea GO (PM)
Platform 7 – 13 Avondale, 16 Southgate
Platform 13 – 15/15A Bramalea Northbound
Platform 14 – 15 Bramalea Southbound

Route 92 will drop off passengers in the morning at Platforms 13 or 14.

Additionally, two bus platforms, serving eastbound routes to the Hwy 407 bus terminal, will move to the bus lane where it exits onto Steeles Avenue.

To help people find their bus, staff will show people where to board their bus and how to access their train from the new bus platforms on August 8 and 9.

There have also been changes to the walkway and parking lot. The walkway from the temporary parking lot will move slightly further south near the parking garage construction area. Some parking spaces will be closed near the two new bus platforms and bus shelter.

Metrolinx will be reconstructing Bramalea GO Station. The work includes constructing a new parking garage, a new bus terminal and improved access for buses.
