Major Food Event Back and Bigger Than Ever in Brampton
Diners rejoice—you don't have to go to Toronto to enjoy multi-course, prix fixe dinners.
While most people know that Brampton's food scene can hold its own against almost any other major city, not everyone is aware that the city is about to host a unique event that will allow residents and visitors to experience some of the best food Brampton has to offer.
Taste of Brampton, which will run from Oct. 15 to Oct. 29, is a two-week event that takes diners on the ultimate foodie experience.
The event, which is hosted by the Downtown Brampton BIA, presents a delicious array of prix-fixe menus and special offerings, and at a discounted price.
"Taste of Brampton is a perfect opportunity to try a new restaurant and find a new favourite, or to visit your go-to for their awesome offering," says Andrea Magana, Marketing and Events Specialist, Downtown Brampton BIA.
So, which restaurants are participating?
Foodies in the mood to indulge in some of the city's most delicious dishes can head over to such culinary gems as Aria Bistro & Lounge, Bucatini Restaurant and Wine Bar, Carve on Lot 5, Das Brezel Haus, Dolcezza Custom Cakes, Epic Pita, Fanzorelli's Restaruant & Wine Bar, Freshly Thai, Fresh X-Press, Joey's Deli, Juice & Rocco's, MacaronZ, Mirch Masala, Nine18, Queen Gypsy, Segovia Coffee, Terrace on the Green, That Italian Place, The WORKS Gourmet Burger Bistro, Tracks Brew Pub, Vesuvio's Ristorante and Wendel Clark's Classic Grill & Bar.
And this year, the event is bigger than ever before (and even includes restaurants outside of the downtown core).
Magana says Taste of Brampton has expanded from the Taste of Downtown Brampton (which it was originally called), to offer residents delicious prix fixe meals at a range of restaurants throughout the city.
"We're excited to welcome new restaurants/specialty shops like Das Brezel Haus, Juice and Rocco's, Segovia Coffee, Terrace on the Green, Nine 18, Mirch Marsala, Bucatini Restaurant, That Italian Place, and Aria Bistro & Lounge - Taste of Brampton has so many delicious options this year," say Magana.
But while the food is the main event, diners can also win some exciting prices.
According to Magana, there are over 25 gift card prizes to be won with mystery values of $25-$150.

"Once again, the Downtown Brampton BIA is very excited to host the Taste of Brampton and encourage everyone to try out these amazing restaurants and foodies found downtown and across the City.
