Over 1,000 homes are affected by a power outage, Alectra confirmed on Tuesday evening.

Over 1,000 homes are affected by a power outage, Alectra confirmed on Tuesday evening.

As of just after 6 p.m. on Tuesday August 21, 2018, Alectra reports that 1,338 homes are without power in the area of Steeles Ave. and Main St. S.

Crews are currently investigating.

No word yet on when power should return.

We will update as information becomes available.

UPDATED: ETR is 9 p.m. for all homes.
