Major Road Closures Planned for Brampton This Weekend

As much as we love festivals, road closures are a natural side effect that drivers and residents should be aware of.
As much as we love festivals, road closures are a natural side effect that drivers and residents should be aware of.
CeleBrampton kicks off summer in Brampton this Saturday, June 10, in the downtown core, and the city has also announced several road closures.
According to the city, the following road closures are scheduled for June 10:
6:00 a.m., June 10, 2017 – 12:00 a.m., June 11, 2017
– Main Street North from Nelson Street to Queen Street
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
– Wellington Street West from George Street to Main Street
– Wellington Street West from George Street to Main Street
8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
– Main Street South from Queen Street to Wellington Street
– Queen Street West from George Street to Main Street
– Queen Street East from Main Street to Chapel Street
Residents are encouraged to take transit for a loonie, or take advantage of free parking at all downtown parking facilities on June 10.
