Males in custody after police standoff in Brampton

Peel Regional Police said Friday (Jul 3) morning they had two males in custody after an overnight standoff in Brampton.

Police said they received the call just after 11 p.m. the previous night that shots were fired in the area of Hoskins Sq and Helena Ct.

Police said they located shell casings outside of a home where a man was barricaded.

After a negotiator arrived to the scene, Peel Police said they were able to secure the area without incident at around 4:30 a.m.
