Officers are on scene for a crash that took place early this morning.

Two vehicles were involved in a collision that knocked down a crosswalk pole at Gillingham Dr and Bovaird Dr West.

One adult male driver was taken to a trauma centre.

Injuries are considered non-life-threatening, police report.

Eastbound lanes on Bovaird from Gillingham were temporarily shut down and are now being reopened.
