Man Wanted for Attempted Murder and Firearms Offences in Brampton

Peel Regional Police are seeking help in locating a suspect that is wanted for attempted murder and several firearms related offences in Brampton.

Peel Regional Police are seeking help in locating a suspect that is wanted for attempted murder and several firearms related offences in Brampton.

According to police on February 14, the victim and the suspect, who are known to each other, were outside of a residence during the late evening hours. The victim was entering his residence at which time the suspect shot multiple rounds from a firearm towards the victim. The suspect fled the scene in a white Dodge Journey and the victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident.

Marcin Beran, a 23-year-old man from Brampton, has been identified as the suspect in this incident. He is described as white, light complexion, 5’8”, 150 pounds with medium length blonde hair and beard. He also has a tattoo of “Loyal to Family” on his right forearm. Beran is believed to be actively evading police and as such, a warrant has been issued for his arrest.  

Marcin Beran should be considered armed and dangerous. If located do not approach, contact police.
