Officers Investigating After Shots Fired in Brampton

Police received a call at 5:16 p.m. for shots fired in the area of Baylor Drive and Bramtrail Gate, northwest of McLaughlin at Wanless Drive.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
Residents are asked to avoid the area while the investigation is ongoing.

UPDATE:
One person was shot and is currently in non-life-threatening condition, police report.
The suspects are described as two black males who fled in a silver Acura with a stolen licence plate reading CBXY 409.
If seen, police urge residents not to approach the suspects and instead call 911.
