One Dead, Three Injured After Vehicle Drives Into Ditch in Brampton

Peel Police got a call at 12:56 a.m. on Thursday (April 26) regarding a vehicle in a ditch in the area of Highway 50 and Countryside Drive.

Four occupants were extricated from the vehicle, which was severely damaged.

Paramedics report that one person succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on scene.

Two other occupants were taken to a local hospital in serious condition, while the fourth was taken by York Paramedics to Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto.

The investigation into this incident, which will be lead by York Regional Police, is ongoing.
