Officers and paramedics are on scene for a fire this afternoon.

Police reported around 5:40 p.m. that a fire broke out at a residence on Chinzan Way, near Williams Parkway and Mississauga Road.

Several houses in the area were evacuated, police say.

One person with minor injuries was treated by paramedics.

There are multiple road closures in the area. 

Residents should avoid the area for now.
