Due to the relatively well-received premiere coffee chat, the mayor has announced a second location.

It’s on to the next, as Mayor Brown will be attending Bean + Pearl in north-west Brampton on March 5, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., to hold subsequent talks with Brampton residents to discuss details outlined in the 2019-2021 proposed budget.

Bramptonians will have a direct path to the mayor and other possible city councillors (such as last week’s Regional Councillor Paul Vicente) to discuss issues affecting them.

The first coffee chat budget townhall was held last week, and was pretty well-received by those who attended.

There are alternatives, by the way, if you can’t make it down to this coffee chat budget townhall.

A telephone budget town hall will be held today from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., or you can call Service Brampton at 311 and indicate you want to give feedback on the budget.

Feedback forms are also available for public review and comments.

The city budget will deliberate on all given public feedback on March 18, with the budget expected to be finally ratified on March 27.

Will you be attending this week’s coffee chat to discuss what’s important to you, Brampton?
