Pedestrian in critical condition after being struck at Steeles Ave

A female pedestrian is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle at Steeles Ave and Rutherford Rd in Brampton.
The call was received by police at 6:06 a.m.
Road closures at Steeles Ave and the Hwy 410 off-ramp, as well as Steeles Ave and West Dr have since been lifted but heavy traffic remains for your morning commute.
Vehicles traveling westbound on Steeles Ave from the 410 are being diverted northbound onto Rutherford Rd.
