Peel Police Investigating Homicide In Brampton

A 63-year-old man has died from his injuries following a stabbing that occurred in Brampton early this morning (August 2).

A 63-year-old man has died from his injuries following a stabbing that occurred in Brampton early this morning (August 2).

Peel Police received a call about a stabbing at 2:21 a.m. today.
According to the police, the incident occurred at 8 Lanebrook Drive in the area of Castlemore Drive and Paddington Road.
The police have reported that several suspects were breaking into vehicles in the area and stealing. The 63-year-old man and his son, a 40-year-old man, confronted the individuals when the suspects stabbed both, killing the 63-year-old. 
Peel Police are currently reviewing surveillance footage. They are looking for an upwards of five black men in their late teens to early 20s.
