If you’re on the hunt for a reasonably-priced home in Brampton, be assured that you’re not alone – the housing market continues to challenge prospective buyers.
A recent report by Zoocasa stated that although Brampton was already firmly situated in a sellers’ market in 2018, a sharp year-over-year increase in sales, along with a steep drop in new supply, has piled additional competitive pressure onto house hunters, who are more likely to encounter bidding wars and other multiple offer scenarios as the SNLR hit 84%.
A total of 655 homes sold, up 10.6%, while 779 were listed over the course of the month, down -13.9%. As a result, the average home price rose by 7% to $734,499.
