The Peel Police are investigating an assault in Brampton.
Around 12:05 p.m, a call was received about an assault in the area of Mountainash Road and Sal Circle.

According to the police, a young female has sustained minor injuries. The female victim left the scene before the police arrived. She was seen with a witness, which also left the scene prior to the arrival of the police.

The police have arrested a man in connection to the incident.
