Police arrest Brampton principal for sexual assault

 

Peel Regional Police (PRP) has arrested the principal of a private school in Brampton. 

On June 8, 54-year-old Sanjiv Kumar was arrested and charged with sexual assault and sexual exploitation.

According to police, Kumar sometimes goes by the alias “Sanjiv Dhawan.”

He was released on an undertaking, and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on August 24, 2020. 

Investigators with the Special Victims Unit believe there are more victims and is encouraging them to come forward by calling 905-453-2121, extension 3460.
