Police Arrest Oshawa Man for Shooting in Brampton

Officers have made an arrest in connection with a shooting that took place in Brampton.

The incident happened at approximately 8:10 p.m. on Monday, February 19 in the area of Almond Street and Vanderpool Crescent.

Police were called to the scene for reports of a shooting and located a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

The 39 year old Brampton man was taken to a local trauma centre with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

On Friday, July 13, investigators arrested Jaedyn Versaci Mills, a 21 year old man from Oshawa.

Mills is charged with attempted murder and unauthorized possession of a firearm, among several other firearm-related charges.

He was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
