Peel Regional Police (PRP) are investigating a hit-and-run involving a police car in Brampton.

Earlier tonight, a car crashed into a police car in the area of Nelson Street West and George Street North.

The suspects, three men, fled the scene on foot. One is in custody, but PRP are still searching for the other two.

No injuries have been reported and there are currently no road closures, but drivers and residents should expect a heavy police presence in the area.
