UPDATED: Police Investigating After Guns Stolen in Brampton Home Invasion


Seven guns have been stolen from a Brampton home following a gunpoint invasion in which the victims were zip-tied.

The investigation is ongoing and as a result we are not able to provide any further information at this time,” said Const. Mark Fischer.

A blowtorch was used in the robbery, however, no injuries were reported.

The incident prompted Peel police to issue a public safety advisory on Saturday.

Investigators from the central robbery bureau are on the case after the guns were removed on Aug. 11 between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m.

Here’s what was stolen:

  • Colt semi-auto, .223 calibre rifle
  • SKS semi-auto, .760 calibre rifle
  • Norenko T17 semi-auto, .223 calibre rifle
  • Glock 9mm semi-auto hand gun
  • Bond Arms multi-barrel .45 calibre hand gun
  • Smith & Wesson semi-auto .45 calibre hand gun
  • Ruger semi-auto .22 calibre hand gun
