Police investigating after pedestrian hit by vehicle in Brampton

Officers are investigating a late-night collision in Brampton.

Police were called at 11:24 p.m. for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle at Airport Road and Steeles Avenue.

Injuries are unknown at this time.

Residents are asked to take alternate routes until further notice.


UPDATE:

The pedestrian is being transported to a trauma centre in life-threatening condition, police say.

The Major Collision Bureau will be attending the scene.
