Police Investigating Disturbing Sexual Assault Allegation

After a young girl was allegedly sexually assaulted in her home this weekend, police have released surveillance video of the suspect.

A recent release from Peel Regional Police reads that in the early morning on September 2, 2018, a female victim under 16 years of age was sexually assaulted in her home.

The residence is in the area of Massey Street and Mallard Crescent in Brampton.

“The victim was confronted by the suspect who had broken into her home and proceeded to sexually assault her,” reads the release.

“The suspect then fled the residence.”

Police say the suspect is described as male, black, approximately 30 years old, of average height, with a medium build.

He is also described as bald, with a small moustache and goatee. He was last seen wearing a black zip-up sweater and jeans.

Police are seeking public assistance in tracking down the suspect.
