Officers are on scene for an investigation this afternoon in Brampton.

Police got a call at 11:07 a.m. regarding an incident near North Park Drive and Bramalea Road.

Police got a call at 11:07 a.m. regarding an incident near North Park Drive and Bramalea Road.

While information is currently limited, police say the investigation involves a deceased person in the area.

Residents may want to avoid the area if possible.

UPDATE: Police said at 1:38 p.m. that the force’s Marine Unit has recovered a party from Professor’s Lake. The investigation is ongoing.
