Peel police are probing a “suspicious” death following the discovery of an adult body near a Brampton creek.

“We’ve found a body and we’re investigating,” said Const. Mark Fischer.

A passerby made the discovery in the Castlemore Rd. and Humberwest Pkwy. area on July 21 at 2:36 p.m. and called 911.

Investigators remain at the scene on Saturday morning.

Castlemore is still closed between Airport Rd. and Humberwest.

Police are tight-lipped about the investigation and say more information will likely be released later today.
