Police investigating three overnight robberies in Brampton

Officers are investigating a series of robberies that took place overnight in Brampton.

Officers are investigating a series of robberies that took place overnight in Brampton.

Police were called shortly before 1:00 a.m. for a robbery at a retail convenience store in the area of Bramalea Road and Countryside Drive.

A gun was seen and one employee sustained minor injuries.

A second call came in at 1:52 p.m. for a retail food business robbery in the area of North Park Drive and MacKay Street. A gun was seen but no injuries were reported.

A third call came in at 2:21 a.m. for a robbery at another food business in the area of Chinguacousy Road and Queen Street. No weapon or injuries were reported.

At this time, police have not confirmed if these three incidents are connected.

The investigation is ongoing.
