Police Looking for Outstanding Suspect in Brampton Home Invasion

Peel police are appealing to the public for help in identifying suspects in connection with a home invasion and robbery incident that occurred in Brampton.

On Wednesday, Aug. 23, at approximately 3:29 a.m., three unknown suspects entered a residence in the Sunforest Drive and Bovaird Drive East area.

Police say that one of the two male occupants, a 24-year-old Brampton resident, sustained minor injuries as a result of an altercation that occurred once the three suspects entered the house.

Police were called to the scene and a 15 year-old and 17 year-old were arrested on site.

A third suspect, however, was able to elude police.

He is described as 5'10" with a light complexion. He was last seen wearing dark clothing, possibly a grey shirt.

Police say some property was recovered, but other items are outstanding.

The 15-year-old Brampton boy and the 17-year-old Toronto boy have been charged with robbery. They were held for a bail hearing and transported to the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses to help identify the third male. Police are also seeking information pertaining to a 2013, four-door Hyundai Elantra that was seen in the area at the time of the incident.

Anyone who was in the area who has a dashboard camera in their vehicle is asked to contact police.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact investigators with the Central Robbery Bureau at (905)453-2121 ext. 3410.
