There is heavy police presence in a residential area of Brampton tonight.
Peel Regional Police say that a call came in at 9:50 p.m. regarding an incident on Eastern Avenue, in the area of Queen Street East and Kennedy Road South.
Police say that this is “in relation to an offensive weapon.”
The investigation is ongoing and police say they are unable to confirm further details at this time.
