Officers are responding to reports of a person armed with a weapon in Brampton this afternoon.

Police were called at 5:50 p.m. regarding a man with a sword at a residence in the area of McMurchy Avenue and Charolais Boulevard.
No injuries have been reported and there is no further information at this time, police say.
Officers remain on scene investigating.
