Police are appealing to the public for help in locating a missing student who was last seen at a Brampton hotel.

Police are appealing to the public for help in locating a missing student who was last seen at a Brampton hotel.

Peel police say 18-year-old Jiheng Jia was last seen at the Fairfield Inn on Westcreek Blvd. at approximately 10:00 p.m. on Feb. 3, 2019.

Police say he wearing a long black jacket with a black hood, dark pants, black shoes and carrying a black backpack.

Police say Jia is a student visiting from China and speaks limited English.
