Police seeking public help in drive-by shooting investigation in Brampton

Police are seeking the public’s assistance as they continue to investigate a shooting that occurred in Brampton.

On Friday, November 8, 2019, police received a call from a residence about a man suffering from a gunshot wound. 

“Investigation revealed the victim, a 29 year old man from Brampton, was driving in the area of Queen Street and Finchgate Boulevard at approximately 5:05 p.m. when a vehicle drove by and fired shots at the victim’s vehicle,” police say.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be similar to a 2015-2017 Volkswagon Jetta that is red in colour.

Police are asking the public to review any video surveillance or dashcam footage between the time of 5:00 p.m. to 5:20 p.m., in the area of Finchgate Boulevard from Queen Street to Clark Boulevard then toward Torbram Road or Bramalea Road.
