Police are appealing to the public for help identifying three suspects of a Brampton robbery.

Around 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, February 26, a 37 year old Brampton man and his girlfriend were at 40 County Court Boulevard to sell five “clone iPhones” (cheap iPhone look-alikes) that he had advertised on LetGo.

Police say the buyer was inspecting the phones and then attempted to flee, but was stopped by the victim.

Two other suspects reportedly came to the first suspect’s aid, allowing them to escape with four of the five phones.

“The total value stolen was approximately $1200.00,” police say.

The suspects are described as three black males.

The first is approximately 20 years old with a beard, moustache, and wearing a black head wrap. The second is approximately 18 years old, clean shaven, with hair in braids. The third is approximately 18-20 years old, 5’11, with a heavy build.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 905-453–2121, ext. 2233.
