Popular Culture Festival Returns to Brampton This Summer

A popular, multicultural music and dance festival returns to Brampton next month!

Vibrant Brampton is a free, all day event in Garden Square that takes place this year on July 14 and 15.

The festival aims to bring the performing arts of South Asia onstage in Brampton, and to celebrate multiculturalism in Ontario and Canada.

Ultimately, the event focuses on South Asian arts, culture, and heritage through performances onstage.

South Asian culture encompasses India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka, and residents are invited to watch dance groups, classical musicians, and popular singers, indulge in South Asian food, and purchase handicrafts.

Last year, Vibrant Brampton showcased talent like the energetic SHIAMAK Toronto Dance team, Toronto-based Canadian rapper and songwriter Fateh, and well-known composer and singer from Pakistan Nadeem Ali.

Hosted by the Arts and Culture Initiative of South Asia (ACISA), event organizers promise games, giveaways, and fun at this free event!
