Now, the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty shops has opened its newest location in Canada…right here in Brampton! 

This is Baskin-Robbins’s fifth location in Brampton, and it’s at our largest mall, Bramalea City Centre. 

The new location is owned and operated by Tim Cui, who operates the location at the Eaton Centre in Toronto, so you know he’s doing something right.  

“I’ve been a franchisee with Baskin-Robbins for more than four years,” said Cui. “I’m delighted to be a part of the expansion of Baskin-Robbins in Canada and look forward to continuing to lead my teams in bringing great big smiles to our customers in Toronto and Brampton.”

You may already be aware that Baskin-Robbins always carries 31 flavours at any given location, like World Class Chocolate, Jamoca Almond Fudge, and my personal favourite, some of the best mint chocolate chip ice cream at an ice cream franchise in existence. 

The new location also includes a flavour of the month, which is York Peppermint Pattie this month. 

There is also, of course, milkshakes, customizable ice cream cakes, and sundaes at the Bramalea location.

If you think about it, it’s about time that Baskin-Robbins opened up at Bramalea. The franchise is already in many major malls, like the Eaton Centre as previously mentioned, and Square One in Mississauga.

“It’s a real joy to watch the way Canadians are reacting to our most recent innovations,” said Natalie Joseph, representative for Baskin-Robbins Canada. “We’ve remodelled our shops and now offer more indulgence and flavours than ever before. Thirty-one flavours is definitely just the tip of the ice cream cone! There’s much more that is sure to tantalize Canadian taste buds throughout the year. Add to that experience and skills of Tim and his team, and we’re confident in our future in the region.” 

The new shop is the franchise’s 99th location in Canada. (Where will the 100th be?! Brampton, maybe?)

The other four locations are at Mavis and Steeles, Chinguacousy and Bovaird, Sandalwood and Conestoga, and near Queen and Torbram.
