Thousands of Brampton residents are without power on Monday morning.
Thousands of Brampton residents are without power on Monday morning.
Alectra reported the outage around 4 a.m. affecting nearly 7,000 residents in the Mississauga Rd. and Sandalwood Pkwy. area. It was caused by a crash nearby.
Crews have been dispatched to fix the issue.
The outage later spread to the Veterans Dr. and Buick Blvd. area.

The estimated time of restoration is 12 p.m.
