Road closed after vehicle flips over in Brampton collision

Officers are responding to a collision this afternoon.

Police were called at 12:37 p.m. for a two-vehicle crash in the area of Blackstone River and Countryside Drive near Dixie Road.

Police were called at 12:37 p.m. for a two-vehicle crash in the area of Blackstone River and Countryside Drive near Dixie Road.

One vehicle has flipped over while the other struck a pole, police say.

There’s no word on injuries at this time.

Eastbound Countryside has been shut down at the scene until further notice.

UPDATE: Minor injuries have been reported and police say one driver is being transported to hospital as a precaution.

The roadway is expected to reopen shortly.
