Road Closed for Police Investigation in Brampton

Drivers on the road this morning should be aware of a road closure.

Peel Police reported around 8:15 a.m. that officers are in the area of Williams Parkway and Torbram Road for an ongoing investigation.

Southbound and northbound Torbram from Williams Parkway is currently closed as a result.

Residents are asked to avoid the area for the time being.

UPDATE: Police say the closure was related to an overnight collision involving two police cruisers.

Minor injuries were reported in connection with the crash.

The roadway has reopened.
