Police were called at 7:54 p.m. after two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Airport Road and Triple Crown Drive.

One victim has been taken to a trauma centre with currently unknown injuries.

The vehicle involved remained at the scene, police say.

Until further notice, northbound Airport Road is closed at Cotrelle and westbound Triple Crown is closed at Murphy Road.

Residents should avoid these roadways.
