A Brampton school is in hold and secure following a robbery, police say.

Shortly after 1:00 p.m., Peel police said officers are in the Elliott St. and Frederick St. investigating a robbery.
Police say a knife was seen.
McHugh PES is in hold and secure while police check the area.

Police say that Songbirds Montessori on Wellington Street is also in hold and secure.
UPDATE: The hold and secures have been lifted. The investigation is ongoing.
