Schools in Hold and Secure Following Assault in Brampton

Two schools are in hold and secure following an alleged assault in Brampton.

Two schools are in hold and secure following an alleged assault in Brampton.

Shortly before 1:00 p.m., Peel police said officers are investigating an alleged assault that occurred in the James Potter Rd. and Creditview Rd. area.

Police say a knife was observed.

As a result, St. Roch Secondary School and Songbirds Montessori School are in hold and secure.

Police say officers are looking for the suspect. 

UPDATE: Police say the hold and secures have been lifted at both schools. A victim has been transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
