Shooting Reported in Area of Major Brampton Intersection

Officers are on scene for a shooting this afternoon.

Around 6:45 p.m., police reported that a shooting incident had taken place in the area of Bramalea Road and Sandalwood Parkway East.

There is no word on injuries at this time.

Residents are asked to avoid the area as police investigate.

UPDATE: A 21 year old male has been taken to local hospital in stable condition, police report.
