Some Residents and Tourists Eligible for Big Rewards at Square One
Over 40 years ago, Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga became every local's go-to shopping destination.
Now that the shopping centre is home to Holt Renfrew, The Rec Room, The Food District and so many other incredible stores and restaurants, it's one of the busiest shopping meccas in Canada, welcoming 23 million people a year—and many of those people travel from out of town to enjoy everything Square One has to offer.
To make shopping even better for residents and tourists alike, Square One introduced its brand new Square One Host Rewards program on July 1, 2019. Because the program was such a hit with locals and out-of-towners, Square One extended it for the remainder of the year.
So, how does it work?
In short, the new program rewards local residents who include Square One in their plans when hosting visiting friends and relatives. By visiting Concierge, local shoppers receive a complimentary valet pass and their guests receive a Tourist Privileges Pass, a gift with purchase and a Roots luggage tag.
The one-of-a-kind Tourist Privileges Pass provides tourists and those coming from further away with exclusive access to special offers and promotions at participating retailers. Your guests will also receive a $20 gift card when they spend $200 or more in combined, same-day receipts.
Residents living within a 60km radius of Square One are eligible to claim these incredible rewards right now by clicking here.
"We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to our tourism program, Host Rewards, so that we can continue to make it easier to share Square One's premium experiences with both residents and visitors alike," says Lesley Boughen, Tourism Manager of Square One.
"It's our way of thanking local residents for including Square One in the travel plans of their out-of-town friends and relatives."
The Pass couldn't come at a better time, as the shopping centre has recently undergone a massive renovation that enhanced the already bustling and exciting retail hotspot. Most recently, the shopping centre's vast West Expansion project brought Uniqlo, Indigo, The Rec Room and The Food District to the retail hotspot.
Now, guests can spend a day shopping and dining before ending the night with some games (and perhaps a comedy show or live musical performance, depending on the evening) at The Rec Room.
While searching for perfect fall and winter fashions (and perhaps new outfits for some upcoming holiday and New Year's Eve parties!), guests can check out The Food District, a best-in-class food market that features handmade and high-quality foods from local vendors.
Guests can shop at a host of premium retailers including Holt Renfrew, Simons, Salvatore Ferragamo, Rolex Boutique | Raffi Jewellers, OVO, Soia & Kyo and Genesis - a luxury automotive boutique.
In fact, Square One boasts over 330 merchants, with guests flocking to the centre to shop and dine at such popular destinations as Tiffany & Co., Reds, Babaton, Apple, COS, Whole Foods, Crate and Barrel, Simons and Morphe.
Guests can also enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the shopping centre.
