Stolen Vehicle Investigation Prompts Major Road Closure in Brampton

Officers are on scene for an investigation this afternoon.

Police received a call at 11:24 a.m. regarding a stolen vehicle in the area of Queen Street and Kennedy Road.

Police received a call at 11:24 a.m. regarding a stolen vehicle in the area of Queen Street and Kennedy Road.

Five young people have been taken into police custody and there are no remaining suspects.

No injuries were reported.

Shortly before 1:00 p.m., police said westbound Queen Street from Kennedy will remain closed for approximately 30 minutes.

Residents are asked to avoid the area.
