Suspect Arrested Following Stabbing Incident in Brampton

One suspect has been arrested following an alleged stabbing incident that occurred in Brampton recently.

On Thursday, June 27, 2019, at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call at a residence in the area of Kennedy Road and Williams Parkway.  

Police went to the scene and located a man suffering from what appeared to be a stab wound. 

The victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.  

Police allege that an altercation took place at the residence.  

According to police, a 19-year-old man, from Brampton, was taken into custody at the scene and is being held for a bail hearing.   

Police are not releasing the name of the victim pending notification of next of kin.

Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are investigating.

And investigators are appealing for witnesses, surveillance video or anyone who may have information concerning this investigation.
