Suspect flees on foot after robbery with knife in Brampton

Officers are investigating an armed robbery in Brampton this afternoon.

Police were called at 3:49 p.m. for a male suspect robbing a business in the area of Bramalea and Mayfield Road.
The suspect reportedly took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene on foot.
While a knife was seen during the robbery, no injuries have been reported.

The suspect is described as a South Asian male in his early 20’s wearing dark clothing, a black hat, and carrying a white garbage bag.
The investigation is ongoing.
