Teen identified as victim in fatal Brampton shooting

Police have identified the teenage victim in a fatal Brampton shooting.

Police have identified the teenage victim in a fatal Brampton shooting. 
Peel police say that on Friday, Nov. 1, 2019, just before 12:30 a.m., officers received multiple calls regarding shots fired in the Kingsview Boulevard and Brenda Avenue area.
Police say officers arrived on scene and found a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Investigators have identified the victim as Lorenzo Wright, an 18-year-old man from Brampton.

At this time, there is no suspect(s) information available and as such, anyone with information is asked to call investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau at 905-453–2121, extension 3205.  

Wright’s death marks the 23rd homicide in the Region of Peel in 2019.
