Three men arrested in relation to stolen vehicle in Brampton

Officers from the 22 Division have arrested three males who were in possession of a stolen vehicle.

The vehicle was brought to a stop strategically by police in Brampton.

On Monday, April 13, 2020, at approximately 11:50 p.m., Peel police came across a stolen vehicle that was travelling southbound on Main Street at Bovaird Drive in the City of Brampton.

Uniform patrol officers conducted a strategic stop of the stolen vehicle in the area of Main Street and English Street in Brampton.

Further investigation revealed that the vehicle was stolen on Friday, February 21, 2020, in Brampton.

A search of the vehicle revealed bank cards and other documents believed to be stolen.

As a result police arrested Jaskaran Sandhu, Jagseer Sidhu and Arjun Arjun.

Jaskaran Sandhu, a 36-year-old male from Brampton, was arrested and charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime X3 and Breach of Probation.

Jagseer Sidhu, a 30-year-old male from Brampton, was arrested and charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime X2.

Arjun Arjun,a 23-year-old of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime X2 and Fail to Comply with Release Order.

During the strategic stop, the driver Jaskaran Sandhu sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital and was later released.

All three men were held for a bail hearing and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice.
