Top 5 Christmas Markets to Visit Outside of Brampton

Published November 17, 2018 at 4:21 am

A wise man once said that the best way to spread Christmas cheer is to sing loud for all to hear. That wise man was Buddy the Elf and he may have been on to something.

Although, if you’re not much of a singer there are many other ways to spread Christmas cheer and get into the holiday spirit.

One of those ways is to visit holiday markets, and although there are a bunch in Brampton that you should check out there are also many others that deserve recognition.

Here are the top five Christmas markets to visit outside of Brampton this year.

5. Toronto Christmas Market

Toronto

The Toronto Christmas Market, located at the Distillery Historic District, has something for everyone to enjoy. A few things you’ll find at this Christmas market include a massive Christmas tree, impressive lighting and seasonal décor, Santa’s house, an Indigo pop up shop, a family entertainment zone, and, of course, a wide variety of vendors.

This market is open Tuesdays to Thursdays from noon to 9 p.m., Fridays from noon to 10 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
