Two Brampton man face charges after woman is struck by car

Peel Regional Police have laid numerous charges after a woman was seriously injured in a Brampton collision.

The Major Collision Bureau reports that on Sept. 17, at 10 a.m., the victim was speaking to two people in a car in the Steeles Ave. W. and McMurchy Ave. S. area.

At some point during the interaction, the victim was struck by a vehicle which then left the scene.

The victim was taken to hospital and remains there in critical condition.

On Sept. 18, two people were arrested in connection with the case.

Manvir Singh, a 21-year-old man from Brampton, has been charged with the following:

–          Dangerous Operation Causing Bodily Harm

–          Fail to Stop After Accident Resulting in Bodily Harm

–          Possession of Property Obtained by Crime x4

Amandeep Grewal, a 33-year-old man from Brampton, has been charged with the following:

–          Accessory After the Fact to Commit an Indictable Offence x2

–          Possession of Property Obtained by Crime x4

–          Fail to Comply with Release Order
