Rajnikant Suthar of Brampton is celebrating multiple lotto wins.

Suthar won $57,730.40 on July 25, 2020, and an additioanl $5,000 on the instant portion of his poker lotto play, bringing his total winnings to $62,730.40.

The 58-year-old married father of two discovered his win instantly while in the store.

“I was very shocked when I saw the words Big Winner, on the Customer Display Unit,” he told OLG. “The clerk was the first one to see the Big Winner message, and he was very excited for me.”

Suthar is planning to save his prize winnings for the time being due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic and is hoping to make plans for his winnings after the situation changes. 

The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K on Balmoral Drive in Brampton.

Brannavan Mahendran of Brampton is also celebrating a lotto win.

Mahendran matched the last six of seven encore numbers in exact order in the July 6, 2020, daily grand draw to win $100,000!

The 36-year-old cupboard maker and handyman discovered his win while at a retailer.

“I was very happy to find out about the win,” he told OLG. “I’m going to purchase a home sometime in the next year.” 

The winning ticket was purchased at Esso on the Run on Cherrycrest Drive in Brampton.
