Brampton’s sisters, Fatima and Amna Sultan make an accomplished pair at just 10 and eight years old.

Over the past six months, the sisters have started an online art store, published a book, have conducted 40 keynotes in conferences and business competitions and have even taken the stage with renowned environmental activist, David Suzuki.

Most recently, they also appeared on the popular television show, Dragons’ Den, where entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas.

While on the show, the Sultan sisters made their pitch to the dragons, making them the youngest entrepreneurs in the show’s history.

Their pitch was in regard to their socially-conscious business, called “Two Sisters on a Mission,” aiming to provide a voice to artists in remote communities.

The result? A proposed deal from all six dragons.

Their request was a $5,000 investment for five per cent of their company and ended up walking away with $20,000 from dragon, Vincenzo Guzzo, who offered them the deal for 10 per cent of their company on the condition that he would be able to mentor them along with his children.

In addition, dragon Lane Merrifield also promised to pay for their post-secondary education.

“By bringing their art to the world, we are sending the message that they are enough,” said Fatima in their episode.

The sisters also received an extra $20,000 on top of the Dragons’ Den deal, from Desjardins through the Goodspark program which will help raise awareness toward the online art store, help get new artists and increase sales.
