Police have arrested two men following a gunpoint vehicle theft in Brampton.

In the late hours of Friday, March 23, Peel police reported that two male suspects approached someone in the Mississauga Road and Royal West Drive area and demanded the victim give them the keys to his or her vehicle. One of the suspects reportedly brandished a gun. 

The suspects left the scene in the stolen vehicle, but the vehicle was later tracked down by police.

Two parties were arrested with the assistance of the tactical and K9 units.

Police say there are no other outstanding suspects.
